Hi Jules,
I thought it was just the filter that had to be replaced did not know that the outer housing was a serviceable item as well, can you confirm many thanks?

Hi Rufas
Yes afraid so but only every 90K miles!
Rubber diaghrams & spring components have a life.

There's an orange diaghram in the housing which is part of the Valve assembly.
The integrity of this can be easily tested in situ just by fitting a tube to the little stub on the circular part of housing (this is the atmosphere side of the valve)

Blow into the tube and you can feel the pressure of the spring and it is pretty obvious if the diaghram has split or not. Plus there would be oil spray around the housing if it was perforated. (not seen this happen to date)

Hi Jules,

I am interested in the PCV Filter Element with seals and O ring. I would also like a set of the Viton intercooler O rings. If you could give me a total price, I can pay you via Paypal.

Thanks,
Mike
