Yes those seats could be heated, my last 75 had those (although the drivers wasn't working...)

Got a decent whack in mine too, well it was all retrofitted.. started out in life as a poverty spec ZT 190 so it shows you can make a lovely car even from a very basic one with some time and effort!

Its basically SE spec

Full heated black leathers with memory
Powerfolds
Dimming mirror
Rain sense
Black oak dash
Parking sensors
Reverse Camera
Cruise Control

And then all the other bits that have been added on, SMD running lights with dimming indicators, SMD converted rear tail lights, Rowe bumper etc etc.

From the 2000 price list, the most expensive and highest spec Rover 75 you could buy off the peg was.

2.5V6 Connoisseur SE [Hi Line NAV]. Cost £27,730. Discounted to £24,885

However, this was a standard SE model with the Hi Line sat nav, with a discount over the standard SE with the option of the Hi Line system of about £80.

All other options [over SE spec] were at extra cost, no auto gearbox, sunroof, powerfold mirrors, Harmon Kardon sound system. etc.

Rover and MG Rover relied on selling customers cost options as a way of boosting income.

The same as German Manufacturers do today.

Default Mine's not bad...

CDTi - one of the last in 2003 before the makeover. Connoisseur SE with Sandstone leather and lots of extra walnut plus a walnut steering wheel. Tourer. Every extra apart from self-leveling suspension, and sunroof (planned). Aftermarket stuff - why not? Improved hi-fi speakers and added a sub. Kenwood ICE with Garmin Satnav, all the latest inputs and outputs, reversing camera. Extra power socket in rear. Engine upgraded to 160 bhp and a new German clutch and flywheel. New rear diesel tank pump (they go at 80,000 miles or so). Well maintained, thanks to Lates 600 and Phil T4 Services. Shock-tops replaced and engine mounts. Spoke-lattice wheels new this year. I love my car! But it is a working family one so gets a bit messy inside, sob. Not a road rocket but turn of speed shocks other drivers and cruises at high speeds using not much diesel. Always use Shell Nitro. Moonstone Green - I preferred dark colours but it has grown on me. People under 40 or so ask what it is and comment on the interior as being modern but retro. Ha ha - best car I have ever driven. Bit springy but comfortable ride. No idea how much it would go for. Probably not a lot but more than many 75s you see on ebay. I know that to get a new car as good as this I'd be looking at £30,000 upwards (maybe less if a Skoda) but without the looks I love.

You'll be surprised what you can do to up spec-your car for little money as long as are patient, I retrofitted a Satnav-TV setup from a donor car to mine (with a great deal of assistance and direction from Trikey) The price new, factory fitted was I understand an eye watering £2,300 I paid £100 for the whole setup

Hi All,

Hope you're all ok and nothing too serious has gone wrong (if at all) with your 75s or ZTs.

Been able to check in and read threads but not post due to limited internet ...alongside in the UK for Christmas on my ship so I'm finally able to post for the next few days lol...

I love threads like these but I notice no one has mentioned a dark oak steering wheel yet lol...

DONE: HAD A CRAZY IDEA THAT I HAD TO GET RID OF MY MG ZTT DUE TO NOT HAVING A DRIVE AND HAVING TO PARK ON A BUSY STREET WITH A VIEW TO GETTING ANOTHER ONE AT A LATER DATE WHEN I HAVE A DRIVE.

ENDED UP REALISING IT REALLY ISN'T PRACTICAL NOT HAVING A CAR TO GET AROUND AND I NOW OWN A VW EOS 3.2 V6 INDIVIDUAL (1 OF 20 REMAINING IN THE UK WITH THAT ENGINE AND TRIM COMBO) EVEN THOUGH I STILL LIVE ON A BUSY ROAD WITHOUT A DRIVE
