Question Ariel alternative ?????

Ever since I've had the ZT about half the heated rear screen hasn't worked and radio reception is frequently poor.

Would the poor radio reception be linked to some of the rear demister not working as I believe it's used as the radio ariel ?

Would a normal whippy roof mounted ariel be ok or a shark fin type for MW/LW reception (Dab not needed).

I believe the aerial is embedded in the o/s rear window. You can se the lines.
Maybe the connection there is loose.

Check the aerial filter, located on the off side D pilar.

Also check the aerial amplifier and connections, located on the nearside D pilar.
