The Symphony and changer relies on a K Bus connection for full operation.

The changer is connected to the Symphony via the Blue mini ISO plug.

The K bus is connected to the Blue mini iso plug pin 19.

You will have to find a K Bus wire in the car loom [there is a K Bus connection

in one of the plugs to the IPK Speedo/rev counter].

Just solder/connect onto the white/red/yellow at the IPK end and then connect

this wire to the wire going into pin 19 blue mini ISO plug.



This is what the Blue mini ISO plug should look like.. Ignore the Yellow and

Green mini ISO plugs in the picture.

Thank you Dave.....I will try that this weekend.....

This is my Thrid Rover 75 its a 2005 V6 with LGP conversation, its a project car for me to slowly work on....

oK SO i took out the IPK from the car and I have disconnected the plugs to the cluster, but I am still unable to locate the K-bus wire.....use be going blind.

Does anyone know where the wire is on the plug to the ipk.

Should be in pin 3 of the 18 pin connector in the IPK.

Thanks for all your Help ....I now have a working CD changer...Radio seen now sees it...

Many thanks guys.....

One more question

What cables do I have to move to get the steering controls to work......

They are currently in the green ISO....

Ok so I have the cd working/mounted in the glove box and I am happy...

Could some one help me out on the following issue...

My steering controls do not seem to be working......

I have the Green ISO connection in the radio, but they do not function...

Any help????

Do I need to use the grey connection, and wire the wires to port 2& 3?

Yes, Blue/Orange to pin 2, Blue/Purple to pin 3.
