Post LL53 UAA - Updates

Hi all,

Thank you for welcoming me into the club. It has been a vast help to me so far with the amount of information on here!

Purchased my ZT-T back in early November as a daily driver. I picked the Tourer to be able to collect parts for my BRM

Cleaned on the day I purchased it!

First job on the list was to check the plenum and change the cabin filter.

Gave the car a service. A PCV mod was already installed so it was cleaned and replaced with new seals. Oil and filter (magnetic sump plug from DMGRS), diesel filter, air filter were all changed. DMGRS undertray fixing kit was installed as the previous owner decided to cable tie on the undertray.

Washer bottle was taken out and cleaned out to get rid of the disgusting odour being emitted from the bottle despite changing the fluid.

Changed the headlamp bulbs to a pair of nightbreakers, still terrible though! I guess I have to used to new BMW/MINI headlamps. Flatted and polished the lenses.

Arch liners removed and cleaned behind, sills injected with waxoil. (Lucky to work in a bodyshop)

Started to reverse Project Drive on my car with these sunvisors which are made of the headliner material and are illuminated. Also (not pictured) I sourced the underfloor foam inserts and carpeted area from a PPD Tourer underfloor boot area.

I took a trip to MG Rover Custom Car Parts to install a highline instrument cluster complete with a trip computer and added digital speedometer. The cluster and clock now have upgraded white LED's as the standard ones were very dim.

The rear light clusters were completely broken up on close inspection they were barely attached to the car, so some brand new genuine lamps were sourced.

Found a XPOWER keyring on eBay.

Yes there is always something to do! Paint the front bumper and bonnet at work due to stonechips. Machine polish the rest of the vehicle.
