Default Headlight replacement

I have a 2005 Mk2 Rover 75. One of my headlights has condensation inside and the other is milky looking. They are Halogen projector type lights. I've found a pair of replacement Mk 2 Xenon. The question is are they likely to fit? and are they worth the effort and expense. Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.

Plug and play straight swap, having said that yours can be refurbished for under £30 with an M3 headlight kit or similar, that will sort the cloudy look and an overnight rest in the airing cupboard or similar warm dry space should dispense with any condensation inside, just make sure you have the rubber covers on the back when you refit them.

Straight swap yes, BUT, they will need to be switched on by a T4 or TOAF to get the correct auto levellers to work. I think but not 100% sure, that you will also need headlight washers under MOT rules.

No you don't, plug and play. No need for washers if not originally fitted.

This is correct.

The xenons will work plug and play and the level will adjust with the manual adjustment wheel on the light switch module. Headlamp washers and self-levelling not needed.
