I think it looks great, my only worry would be ride quality, you could always go the hydraulic route with controlable ride hight from inside the car, there was a company called rayvern hydraulics from my streetrod days, I think they are still going so you could check their website, not cheap but ultimate cool.

Looks good to me.
That's some drop 70 and 50mm,i would expect to suffer comfort wise with that. I'm looking at around 30mm back and front and the springs manufacturer says comfort levels shouldn't be affected. |

a rough look it looks ok but i would be worried about speed humps and going on anything other than a flat road . all depends on how low low is and how good a set up it is . i wish you well with it

Lowered looks really nice, maybe 22's would fill out the arches nicely too?

would agree a zt looks ok- there are plenty of lowering kits about so you don't have to go with the BMW kit, I would recommend changing shocks at the same time as springs and I like Francos idea of adjustable dampers.
Don't bother lowering it- buy a ZT |

>>>It either looks as though it has 4 broken springs or none.<<<
As the CDT already has a distinct "nose down look" the lower you make it, the more pronounced that becomes (%wise) and the more out of balance the car looks. I notice you have removed all 4 mud flaps, were the fronts touching? I have had to trim mine due to them catching on high kerbs, traffic slowing bumps etc, and my car is bog standard. (Springs are new though). ... |
