its all according how fast you can count, or you have a stutter.

Sorry to raise this old thread, but some manufacturers do lie about their 0 to 60, but not in the way you think. VAG are known for lying about the performance of the lesser brands models (Seat and Skoda). The figures they quote are directly in line with those cars being cheaper, even though they may be lighter and just as powerful as the VW or Audi versions (i.e they are less impressive). Gearing and traction have nothing to do with it. Magazine tests show they are quite a bit faster than quoted. Its all about marketing.

VW wouldnt allow a Seat Cupra R to be quoted as faster than their precious (over rated) Golf GTI.
