Oooh, deepest sympathies Rammie. I did that myself a while ago. I was doing forced labour in the garden, sorry I was helping my wife in the garden(!), bent down to pick something up, felt a crunch at the base of my back. Thought to myself that ain't gonna be good, boy was I right, a few days later I could barely walk. I'd tweaked a disc which put pressure on the sciatic nerve. Never felt pain like that before. Hope it clears up soon.

Default Sciatic nerve

I too did this some years ago, pins and needles all the time and pain in my leg.

Was cured by a visit to an Osteopath, best £20 I have ever spent. I could only walk a few paces and would need to stop for a rest. After I saw the Osteopath I could walk down a flight of stairs which was absolute agony before he treated me.

Thanks Steve,
I did the damage on the 28th April and I am still off work!! In fact the Doctor signed me off for another 2 weeks last Friday.

I did mine in a similar way to you, replacing an old wooden fence with concrete posts etc, all I did was fall on my *** from a small height levering out some old concrete, so I am having to go for 2 X-rays tomorrow to try to acertain what the problem is?
The pain has moved down to my knee and shin and I have to walk with a stick at the moment

Hopefully this will shed some light on the problem.
