Default Mud Flaps what to do?

My Zt has mudflaps front and rear, the front ones are nearly falling off due to grounding, I have cut the bottoms off ages ago but they still ground a little and I think they are not long for the car and they are ruining the wheelarch liners. The rears are fine but would look silly without the fronts.

Can anyone help?

1 Is it possible to buy some at a sensible price?
2 Is it possible to get the little trim pieces that protect the wing bottoms instead?
3 Has anyone fixed theirs up?
4 Is there an alternative flap?

Cheers

Piers

Hmm not listed at Rimmers and the Xpart ones look like the may be afermarket.

I think I might have to investigate putting mine back up properly and trimming the bottoms more.

They are a bruddy nuisance on the ZT, but I think the car looks better with them on, and they do keep a lot of dooh dooh off the flanks.

If you're replacing them, it's worth checking for paint damage/rust underneath the old ones and sorting that out before fitting the new.

Especially in cases where they've been catching on speed bumps etc, they can make a mess of the paint and cause potentially nasty hidden patches of rust.

They are still available new from Xpart and Rimmers and they are OEM ones.
Rears for tourers and mk2 cars though are unavailable.

Wonder how many would be interested in getting the Mk 2 Tourer rear ones made up again? I´ve got a set, brand new that would make a great template

I for one would be, took me ages to get rid of blast and tar marks from my tourer when I bought it, first thing I did mas modify the fibreglass wheelarch lip to fit a set of saloon ones I had. I would buy a pair anyway.
