Good Scrap Yards in Middlesbrough Area
Hi All, I'm compiling an ever increasing list of mods I would like to carry out on my 2004 ZT CDTi. I've bought several items from members of this forums & several from the very obvious fleebay source. I quite fancy having a mouch around a scrappy for some chrome bullets (possibly powerfolds) illuminated sun visors & auto dipping rear view mirror and anything else intersting for that matter.
BUT the last time i was in a scrap yard I was about 19 and was looking for some alloy wheels to fit onto my Vauxhall Chevette (I got some beauties) I know that most auto salvage yards now seem to strip the cars themselves and sell the parts over the counter, SO, what I'm asking is does anyone know of any good traditional type scrap yards in the Middlesbrough area where I can go and rummidge till my hearts content |

Most have or are changing due to the new laws and regulations and recycling of oils etc.
Walking around a yard is becoming a thing of the past now unfortunately at most. |
