Ellow John. I think it's about 45 miles ish from M/cr airport.. Hellofarun home afterwords though! Well over 100 miles for you. And -- you have to go up over the Pennines both ways..
It's quicker to go via the M67, then going up over "Woodhead" toward Barnsley, rather than the "Snake pass" route To Sheffield... My Garmin sat-nav tells me I have "arrived" about 700yds before I actually see the park entrance, (traveling East) so don't get caught out. It will be nice to see you there. ... |

Eeekk! That makes it about a 2 hour drive each way I think! as it must be around 120 miles from your place to Thryberg park!
That's a lonnggg way to go for a "local" meet.. ... |

I never cease to be amazed at the distances some people drive. JDC's annual mileage is incredible, I also think Colin does huge distances, as well as many more I am unaware of.
Makes my 90 min limit to meets look a very poor effort indeed.. So for all you long distance travelers.. Sir's.. I salute you all - ... |

Good grief now Dave's becoming a road runner! Whatever next!
I can't save you a seat Dave, coz I doubt the Yorkies will let me into the posh new conservatory, plus the fact I always turn up late coz I HATE mornings!! my brain cell only wakes up after mid day. I may be able to get you a seat outside so you can look at it though.. ... |

It's not usual for the 2.5 V6 to blow its head gasket, so hopefully it's something far more minor, maybe the spring in the cap has given up the ghost and all you need is a new cap...
