Default Personal Line Leather

Just won an auction for a 2001 Rover 45 IXL (that's the 5 door version of the Connoisseur), but didn't realise that Personal Line Leather was an option. Mine has it in Copperbeech Red, which I have never seen on a 75. Was it offered on the big brother?

I bought back a couple of months ago a rover 45 IXL, also a 5 door with the copperbeach red interior. Look on Rimmer Brothers for the mats to match..... even got the rover badges on.

I vaguely remember selling a 45 saloon, which I'm pretty certain was a Club spec and an initial launch stock car. It had various options fitted and was the only one we had with a green velour interior.

I remember the customers face change when he looked inside and straight away I could see he was going to buy it ! It did look very nice

I've got a feeling the interior colour was called 'Arbour green' ? Outside was BRG, I used to him driving it around Plymouth for many years, but sadly not recently.

Here are a couple of pages from a Rover 45 brochure.

The colours for the Personel Line interior available in both leather and cloth were..

Catkin Green

Neptune Blue

Copperbeech Red

The red and the green were not available for the 75.

I sold a R45 diesel in metallic blue and it had a dark green leather interior. Strange spec I thought!

Now you are tempting me, but as the car is not to be a show car and came with original mint Rover logo black rubber mats, I am resisting! However, they would be very nice. Decisions, decisions.
