Default Fred Dibnah

I've just been watching one of the late great Fred Dibnahs documentaries when I saw him getting into a Rover 75, I've had a look on the .gov tax check and the vehicle is still taxed and MOT'd. Does anyone have any more information on this vehicle? The registration mark is W303 AEC, 1st registered in April 2000.

Cheers
Dave

Went to see Fred doing a talk in Rhyl few years back.
Great Steeplejack stories and great evening.

I loved the no health and safety attitude during toppling the chimneys when he use to say

She's going she's going then he would proceed to run away and the pile of bricks would just miss him.

The he would say
Did you like that ?!!!!!

Nope just remember the furore around it.

Basically he left his five kids everything and his three wives nothing.

He said he believed his second and third wives (he was still married to her when he passed) wouldn't have looked at him let alone married him had he not been famous so as far as he was concerned he'd kept up his end of the deal with them whilst he was alive.

His third wife's son got nothing either, again, same reasons.

The third wife contested the will but lost her petition.
