Default ariel plug

Anyone know what they call the plug that is on the Ariel lead that plugs into the amplifier on the door pillar, or where I could get one?

If it this one then I don't know the name but I know that the easiest way to get one is from a scrap 75. Cut the lead with about a 1ft. of wire.
You could add a simple male and female tv aerial plug to a short lead with the plug in question and connect to the aerial car loom and on to your radio.

The plugs are quite difficult to remove. You have to press the two chrome lugs either side of the plug together with equal force.

Both types of aerial amp use the same plug.

That's the very thing Dave. Were they only fitted to Rovers?
Seems like I might have to try and find one on a scrap car if they are no longer available. Thanks for posting the pics.
