Default Impressions of my lowered 75.

A friend has been kind enough to photoshop my 75 with lowered suspension. It gives it a lot more road presence and looks so much better without that huge gap in the wheel arch imo.Time to get busy

Current look.......

Proposed new look.......

It looks as though it has at least two broken springs, and can no longer be parked toward a kerb for fear of damage to the front bumper, And in the area I live in, even without it's mud flaps, it would not be able to go down many side roads without grounding on sleeping policemen..

IMO lowering an Exec type of car always makes the car looked damaged, you can get away with it on a hot hatch, but not on a large saloon car like a Rover 75..

Still -- it's all in the eye of the beholder I guess.. Good photoshop work though..

Not to my taste but Francoh20 has a lowered ZT which does look very smart. Check out the photo's from the Scottish meet which was held on 06March.

Wink

just go for it mate! i done my zt because didnt like the big gap. i prefer the touring car look which are saloons aswell. mine has a bmw e46 328 full coil over kit as there is no loweringkit fot a zt. mine is dropped 70mm front 50 mm rear but it is fully adjustable and just shave the bottom off your mudflaps youll be fine. my car is pictured in the scottish meet. let me no how you get on.

i didnt like the gap between the wheel arch and top of tyre. speed bumps have not really been that much a hassle.

looks good lowered. Was the BMW kit a straight swap on the ZT?

I'd like to lower my V8 but at the moment need the height for getting up the drive. Would like adjustable coilovers at least i'd be able to get a good height for the drive yet lower for looks.
