Rain sensor element
Does anybody know how the rain sensor element is fixed to the windscreen please?

I believe it's stuck on (with rain sensor adhesive no doubt).

The optical part is bonded to the glass...

There's always a way of removing things.
The problem arises when you want to put them back ! Don't forget that if your screen meets with an accident, you will get a nice new one including sensor. Mick |

Yes m8, Anything on the original windscreen must be replaced by autoglass etc.

How about the black plastic box which covers the sensor David? Can that be removed please?

I can't remember ever removing an MGR one but other manufacturers usually just 'clip' on
