Default Many thanks to stocktake

I would like to publicly thank Dave (stocktake) for sorting out my Vis motors.
Firstly, he very PROMPTLY sent me the club's tester, with full instructions.
Of course, both my Vis's were not working (I did'nt know ).
He then very quickly sorted my Vis's and gave full fitting explanations, including how to free sticking valves. As a matter of interest my butterfly valve was so jammed tight, after trying carb cleaner I had to resort to paring if with a stanley knife !!
Car is now up and running as sweet as a nut.
Thanks again Dave, 'you' and others like you are the 'Club'.
Where would we be without you.

Hi Alf, you make me blush Glad you got it sorted, the balance butterfly is often overlooked and if not attended to can ruin a perfectly good Vis motor

Default Stocktake? great service

Yes! I completely agree: marvelous service.
First the tester, that proved both VIS motors had failed!

Then sent off the duff units to Dave and they were returned very quickly indeed - cleaned and ready to go ... and they do....

Now the beast is working so well and so much smoother
