Cybox Exhausts
Anybody have any experience of these on a zt?
I have been looking at getting a stainless exhaust and after getting a quote for £440 at my local Longlife place, decided I needed to find something else. I found a Cybox cat back system for £265. They say it fits all models which troubles me a little as the pipes are different diameter on the petrol and diesels plus the ZT-T needs a longer pipe so unsure how they can have one system to suit them all. They also do custom stainless exhausts so maybe they make them to order. Cybox are just up the A41 from me so may pop down and see them but would like to know if anybody has fitted one of their exhausts and what they think of it.

I’d try getting some quotes elsewhere, I’ve just had a quote from tony banks in Leeds, cat back stainless system with twin tail pipe for £330 fully fitted. Also had a quote from MIJ exhausts for the same system, for roughly the same price.

+1 For Tony Banks here too, he did a system for Debs V6, fully fitted for £350.

I've looked at these Cybox Systems before - I'm not quite ready to go Stainless yet (Noise Concerns) - I thought they looked the part, I prefer the Oval tipped version they do (£275) - I've seen this Oval tipped version fitted to a ZT and ZT-T both 190's I'm sure - there are a couple of short Videos on Youtube - if nothing else shows they do fit - and the Oval tipped version looks at home on a ZT
I like the fact these are in sections and able to be removed/stored easier for future Maintenance. MIJ also had prefab Cat-back systems available in a similar package on ebay for various engines - (as well as their Custom Build Service) I'm sure I also seen the Round tipped Cybox system fitted to a 75 Tourer online somewhere (if i remember where i'll post a link) Paul. |

I had a chat with John woods autocare (XPart dealer, Modern MG and classic specialist near me) and they worked with Cybox to develop a custom exhaust for the MG6 and MG3 and tell me they are very good quality (they would though) I will try to make time to pay cybox a visit during next week and have a chat with them. May discuss a decat or dummy cat too unless anybody can persuade me that I really need a working cat.
