N guage box file
As some will know I've always been a railway enthusiast, albeit on a small scale since the wife and kids. ( See what I did there)
Anyhow, I've stumbled across the box file layout and am keen to make one of these. Essentially it's an n guage layout made in an A4 box file. Does anyone have experience at such a thing. I've joined the N guage forum but I wondered if my pals here had any experience |

Try joining RMWeb forum, a great helpful place - I reckon it is even better than here!
Also Scalescenes do a download for a box file layout (in 00", though all their range is normally available in N as well). They are print at home cardboard buildings. https://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/ https://scalescenes.com/ Stewart |

I thought my forums had got mixed up as was flicking between here and RMweb!
As as been said joining RMweb is a good start. There is actually a couple of classic car threads on there the Stewart and myself are regulars on |

Another friendly and helpful (though fairly slow) forum is newrailwaymodellers. It's actually a shop but they run a forum on their website. I saw a load of these box file and briefcase layouts at a show in Milton Keynes last year. I'm pretty sure some of them were in T and Z gauge. Very impressive little scenes.

A picture of part of the Loco sheds at Glasburgh my previous 00 gauge layout. On RM Web somewhere.
This layout has been sold off to fund some family things and my new N gauge layout currently at track laying stage |

Unusual visitor
Visiting Class 31 at Glasburgh Depot
Just had to buy this model when Hornby brought out the re tooling. Superb. I am sure a 31 must have visited Haymarket at sometime. |
