Can't give you a measurement, but I managed to fit a 6' long submarine in the back of mine with the seats down. Height and angle of the folded seat is an issue though, meaning I had to transport the Sub in its 2 halves to reduce the height.
If its a sailing yacht I'd say a big issue may be the transporting of the sails. I had a Kyosho sailing yacht which was around 3' long, but getting the sails/mast safely in the car was a huge problem. |

I measured my 75 boot with the rear seat back folded down. It's restricted by the position of the driving seat, so with that in my normal position, the rear seat back lays at an angle of around 30-40 degrees, which limits the space available. The longest measurement I could get was 63 inches. I think you'd need the rear seat back and maybe the front passenger seat removing to get anywhere near 85 inches. Widthwise, the major part of the boot is narrowest at 48 inches. The widest part (rear of the wheel arches) is about 52 inches.
