Default Help or Info needed for MGZT saloon

help or info needed.

mgzt saloon

Alarm issues

info display shows p/s rear door open when closed also interior light stays on this doesn’t happen all the time. if I put headlights on and use dash dimmer the door light goes off as well as the interior light but then both come back on when I adjust dash lights to being less bright ? if I lock car up on fob after 10 min's alarm goes off, lock it just on inside switch locking nothing ? rear door locks and un-locks as normal as do all the doors.

has the interior light trip switch with-in the lock failed.

can the alarm be by-passed or switched off but still be locked on fob

thank you. Jt

You can unplug the horn in the plenum chamber, this wont fix your issue but it will allow you to lock the car without it annoying everyone.

Try a half hour battery disconnect. ( Negative terminal. )

It might, just might reset things.---

IF YOUR BATTERY WENT FLAT MAKE SURE YOU GIVE IT A FULL CHARGE. 24 HOURS MINIMUM.
