Default interior light switching wires

merry Xmas folks.as santa bought me a set of ghost shadow lights to fit in the doors with mg logo,I was wondering what 2 wires it is from the central locking switch I can connect to.

There isn't a way to power door lights from the locks. The easiest source is the front interior light. There's also a suitable place under the passenger footwell wall trim, though I haven't explored that one. This is how I added 'puddle' lights which I guess are ghost shadow lights(?).

OK cheers T-Cut.i have just found out through forum search that someone used the purple wire with white trace in driver footwear,so reckon that's gonna be easier apart from getting through doors rubber boot.

isnt the purple with the white trace the sun visor lamp ?

I just took the feed direct off the tracks of the interior light for my footwell lights becaus eI wanted them to come on with the map light when that was turned on helps with girls and handbags and looking for lippy in the dark etc

The map lights are on the Purple/Slate cable, the interior light is on the Purple/White cable in the 'normal' position, Purple/Slate when on with map lights.

I took it the other side of the switch though
