Its just a shame that they make James May out to be a buffoon (now theres a word you don't see very often!). Out of the three Top Gear presenters he does talk the most sense IMHO.

Mr May's opinion of the 75 changed a little from his first drive:

Why did it take Top gear 4 years to test drive it though?

I don't understand how James May could have hated it when he first drove it and now thinks it's a great british car. Just goes to show how little input they really have and how much the writers do.

.
And curiosly, Jeremy Clarkson raved about it at the launch, (see here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHNsq...eature=related) but now rubbishes it at every opportunity.

I think Top Gear has nothing to do with a serious car test or review program. So don't take it that way.

For me it is just “cheap” entertainment with cars as main issue where they have the opinion that they can say literately anything about every brand and car type even if everybody knows it is nonsense they talk. On the other hand, sometimes you can have a good laugh with the program. But for the “in depth” car reviews? Rubbish!

You can see it on the "reviews" of the 75. One day it is the best car in the world, the next day it is NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-, we all know better I expect…
