Very nice JP.

Got my new ones on too after a set-to with the DVLA in Llanishen Cardiff. They said that I could not change it over as there was no record of it having a valid MoT. This, I said to the man over the desk is strange because you yourself issued me a new one when I had my car re-registered from Spanish plates back into UK ones.

After checking various computers and talking to numerous persons it was agreed that I could not have it changed as there was no record of it and that I would have to get another Mot done.

Not one to be outdone I went home and brought in my Mot certificate that he had issued to me with his initials on it. Ah was the reply. More checking was done on the certificate number and, you guessed it no record. They found a record of it on the VOSA database but not on their DVLA one. VOSA being the database that the police to check up on vehicles so at least if I had been stopped for say, a light out they would not have towed my car away.

It was finally decided after some length of time to issue me with a new MoT on my new plates

M7 FVE

Your car looks good too.

Hi Kestral19, I had the plates made by the company I bought the reg from and like a wally I never gave the club badge a thought, what a plonker

Flippen heck Mike, what a palaver! I think that plate of yours is a fab one to have

Steve I have been locked in mortal combat with a combined force of dust and bird plop this week, I won in the end but it's been tough
