Get over yourself Ian! Apology? What for? The post's 2nd paragraph was proscriptive in that your 'I want you to', and 'you must put forward' was, or seemed to be, an attempt at controlling. And the 'perspective' led to further confusion - in me at least. If I misunderstood you, then I regret that of course. However, I think the remedy lies with yourself!

For goodness sake the pair of yous. Try and act like grown ups, it's not difficult.

Apparently it is . . . for some.

There seems to be some activity behind the scenes here. There is no animosity between us. And never has been. I always avoid personal conflict and endeavour to post sensibly. Are there Snowflakes hiding? What on Earth is going on? Conflict seems contagious. Curiously, not unlike a virus. I wonder if my expressing a certain regret fell on studiously myopic eyes. There must be some growing up to do.

Because I think I deserve one, you thought I was trying to control the thread, I was not and have said so. Therefore because you made a mistake you should apologise
What is your suggestion for a remedy?

If you feel I am out of order, I apologise.

Personally If I was involved I would prefer a calm sort out via a pm otherwise the temptation on open forum is to always have the last word.

You grow up, you get old... you get old, you die.
