Tempting but would need new timing belts and serpentine belts.
To make it economical to drive an LPG conversion. Suddenly it’s not tempting anymore. Alan Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

MOT history doesn’t look too bad.

It's been written off in the past...
This vehicle was written off (Cat N) This vehicle was damaged in the past but the structural frame or chassis were not affected. The insurer decided that repairing the vehicle would have cost more than replacing it. Contact the seller to find out as much as you can about the damage that was done and how it was repaired. Many Cat N vehicles are safely repaired but you should have it checked to ensure it's roadworthy. |

Cat N doesn’t worry me one bit. It’s usually just a very minor bump and no structural or chassis damage at all.

They seem to write them off if a bulb goes these days....
Insurance companies simply don't want the hassle of repairing older cars - trying to match paintwork, parts possibly no longer available, giving out expensive 'free' loan cars, then having to provide a decent length of warranty on the work completed.....so for most everyday cars that are around 8 years or older it becomes cheaper to write it off & pay out the customer.

Update - received message from the seller regarding the CAT N. A council van Hit his car several months ago leaving just a small mark on the bumper and boot lid. No other damage at all but went through the insurance hence the CAT N. He is also open to sensible offers. It’s a cracking car for an enthusiast. Deep sea green interior, too. If I didn’t have my daily turbo saloon, I’d have this.
