Lots of neighbours mowing lawns today, It's been like it was yesterday, warm but cold as soon as the sun disappeared behind the clouds.

My sister had a appointment with the physio dept for her knee replacement. They're happy with her progress & she's walking as normal as she was before surgery.

By 'eck those look tasty Jeff I need to order some more puff pastry with the next shop, The last two frozen blocks I got didn't seem to puff up much so I'll look elsewhere for some ready made Jus-Rol. .

I'm having some lamb casserole that was left over from yesterday's tea.for my tea & I'll be doing a pork chop dinner for the missus & daughter later
Time for a cold apple juice after re-potting dozens of flower seedlings, Only about 500 more to do
My brother turned up for a chat & left with armfuls of flower & tomato plants I'd sowed too many of everything & some had to go.

Been the same as it has been the last few days here, sunny but cold, only around 10C.

Been running a travel enquiries service, getting messages from Ging down in London, "How do I get from A to B? Can I get from B to C?".

Used to live not that far (½-¾ of a mile or so) from the Jusrol factory in Berwick. Surprisingly small factory considering how much puff pastry they produce. Was and I think still is their only factory.

Hi all.

Good to hear that the trainee stuntmen are slowly on the mend and that folks are getting on with stuff regardless of various aches, pains and the chilly weather .

Quizzie is on her holidays in South Devon:

Here she is on Lannacombe Beach

And here's the fisherman's pie at at Beesands Beach - 'cus I know how much we all enjoy food pics (https://www.britanniaatthebeach.co.uk/.) And yes, it was very, very tasty - that dish is about 6-7" across and over a foot long .

All without Quizzie's help. although she was rather keen to try.

The roads are erm.... challenging - you know, just wide enough to miss the door mirrors and grass growing up the middle. A nightmare to get anywhere and "entertaining" if someone comes the other way.

Take care all.

Andy.

Had a few driving challenges. Going to Skye off the west coast of Scotland en route to the Isle Of Lewis. Went up at night to get the first ferry in the morning from Tarbert. Normally I'd have gone via Fort William but the sat nav had a quicker route, north of Perth at Dalwhinnie turn left. The left turn took us onto the A86 . . . . this could only be classified as an A road in the wilds of Scotland, basically a winding single track. Thankfully because it was in the early hours we didn't meet anything.

Challenge 2 was on Lewis, heading to the iron age house at Bosta beach. Single track again but at one point you come to the crest of a hill that's so sharp all you can see is sky!

Challenge 3 was thanks to the sat nav again, took me over the Hardknott Pass . . . . once in a lifetime experience coz I wouldn't want to do it again
