I'm after a set too please. Not mentioned by Mr M.O.T. but I noticed the red stuff starting on mine.

Still working on this one behind the scenes, but at the moment most of our time is going on the rear upper arms - we're importing a large batch from MG, as they'll be the last ones available it seems.

That'll be done in a couple of months, so we can move on with this.

I'd better save up for three sets then!

Any news? Look whats lurking in the backgroundimage.jpg

I took this arter painting up the rear subframe and all the other bits attached to it. This is on the auto, but dont suppose the manual is any better. I have been working through all the metalwork underneath.

How do these support straps come off anyway? I can see a number of bolts holding them to the body, but what are those rivet looking things going in to the tank? Dont fancy springing a leak.

Hi Dave. Those rivet things are exactly that plastic rivets to "locate" straps to bottom of tank. Hope this helps others as well as clearing your head of possible problems. You do have to remove handbrake cables and exhaust though Cheers. Ray

We've got some more progress on this - I'm nipping to the fabricators later to have a look at a 'test' strap they've made up for me.
