Default This may help someone.

I recently fitted my bumper etc after having my air con fixed. All fine until my bonnet failed to open (one of the cables trapped) One side of the bonnet released but the other side stuck fast. A sharp tap with a stout flat blade screwdriver on the bonnet peg (the one with the spring around it) sorted it and the bonnet popped. I loosened the bolts holding the location pegs so they might find their own centre in the slam panel, just nipping them up afterwards.
