Yesterday was a bit of a marathon. Up at ungodly o'clock to get the 05:40 train to King's Cross. Got down there, tube to Green Park because Ging wanted to see the flowers that had been left. Unintentionally we ended up on The Mall not far from the palace. Ging suggested we stay there (not part of the original plan) but I wasn't sure I could stand in one spot for 4-5 hours . . . . about an hour of standing confirmed that, I didn't feel great at all I think it was mainly due to my current medical problems which cause a lack of energy, little sleep for two nights (Ging was dayshift) then up about 3:30 on the day. I suggested if she wanted to stay there I go back to King's Cross and wait but I think the standing wasn't doing her any favours either. We ended up going walkabout for a while but a lot of the city centre was closed off.
Got home about 10pm, I was shattered, up again at 5 as Ging is dayshift. Gonna take a couple of days to recover! Next time we go on the wander going to make sure we are better rested.

I know the feeling Steve, I cant stand for than 15 minutes without losing the will to live with pain. Pushing Mam in her wheelchair yesterday kicked off me back.

My SIL is taking the grand kids to the Queens funeral.

It’s lovely day, 16° and bright and sunny. I got the grass cut, then Marinabrian called with Alfie and we went down to the river side and Alfie had a good walk, then we stopped at the cafe for a cuppa and a cake.

Our daughter bought us a air fryer today saying it's cheaper to use that than the conventional oven for certain foods, I tried it out for chips & I must say they cooked just perfectly & tasted great.

I was creaking when I got up at 5 this morning, took a few minutes to get my knees working!

Just had a seed delivery, just as well, only had enough left to half fill one feeder, there was nearly a riot out there, birds were landing on the window sill and staring in the window. As well as the usual 20kg of sunflower seeds there was 2 kilos of kibbled maize . . . . what ever the hell kibbled maize is Dunno if Ging bought it (why?) or it was a freebie, sent her a text.
