Cool

Good morning everyone from a grey start to the day, but no rain yet.

Banana goes into the body shop today to have a new sill fitted.

Sympathise Ian, I haven't had a decent sleep since we got back. It was hotter in Rome but the room had air con which, believe me, was well used.

Steve thank you, I certainly hope that everything finally goes to get me back to work, I’ve been self employed for about 34 years and the majority I used to chat with customers after I finished doing windows or doing carpet cleaning , 3 piece cleaning and a bit of bus driving about a couple of times a week.
With no friends to keep in touch with and no customers to talk to really makes me so depressed, however I have started doing a little far riding my bike to get plenty of exercise that usually makes me a bit better. I have done small distance as little as 2 miles there and back a couple of days, then last night I did about 2&3/4 miles. I will wait until this evening until it’s a bit cooler by then.

Good morning Richard

No one should take your hopes and dreams away, certainly not me.

Your next challenge is to get your driving license back and do what ever is required to achieve that.

Always have a plan B to fall back on in case of a setback or a disappointment. I have had many setbacks over the years and you learn to pick yourself up again.

It’s great you’re getting out on the bike but you could also start to look for events where like minded or nice people go to. That way you can talk to people and make friends as you are a people person and you have always been a great talker, you are kind and you have bags of personality

I find this heat absolute torture, I'm wet through with sweat just sitting doing nowt Give me the usual wet cool Lancashire Summer anytime over this inferno.

Afternoon all,late on parade today

Done the back lawns this morning so that is one job out of the way.

Today is my Georgies birthday, its been a bad time for me ,I miss her so much, its now coming up to 6 months since she has gone, but the pain do not get any better and the tears still flow.

Twilight sings a song
All the happiness that used to be

Soon my eyes will close
Soon I'll find repose
And in dreams, you're always near to me

I'll see you in my dreams
And then I'll hold you in my dreams

Steve I am sorry you are having to go through the pain of losing Georgie but it does show how much you loved her.

I have a partial photo of her with Sandra at the Pride of Longbridge taken by Stu

Remembering Georgie on her birthday….
