Default Clutch Master Cylinder

My rover75 is in the garage again for a Clutch master cylinder change! 12month and 5 days ago i had the DMF,Clutch and master cylinder changed. Now 25k later the clutch master cylinder is leaking. Is there a fault with these units, the garage has asked for the job be done on warranty but the supplier refused because its over the 12month.

Someone's not reading the threads!

Check out 'clutch cylinder' throughout the forum. Probably the most popular topic there is!

Default Only 25K

I did read all the post regarding Clutch Clyinder the point i'm making is that the cylinder has gone after 25k & 12month, In my eyes that is really bad life time for a component! Would you not aggree!

Are you sure it wasn't DMF, clutch and SLAVE cyl. ? The slave is the most troublesome component and it is always advisable to change this with a new clutch.
The Master Cyl. is located above the clutch pedal inside the car and can be changed independently of the clutch and, of course, without removal of the gear box
