Hydramount?
Daft question , does the hydramount contain fluid? and can it leak??
Had my aircon regassed recently, and found some fluid around the hydramount. I thought it might have been fluid from the aircon, but now I'm not sure As always, advice gratefully received |

I'm sure I remember a post about that mount containing glycol, but I know they can and do leak some kind of fluid when they split, someone will confirm or correct me I have the MGR tool for mount removal if you need a loan of it Ronnie, you are more than welcome.

Yeah, I'm sure they do have fluid or gel in them. Something tells me it might be silicone and it does leak out when the mount fails.

Yes…they do contain fluid, and can leak.
There was a thread on here not so long ago, which discussed as to wether you should hear the fluid of a new one sloshing about when shaken (possibly particular to diesel models?). I had a new one in the shed which did make the sloshing sound. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
