Default Rover 75 bonnet black fibre liner.

Hi, the black fibre liner on the inside of my R75 bonnet has been contaminated
over time with screen wash liquid leaking from the plastic supply tubes to the washer jets above and it is now quite badly stained and the composite material has started to disintegrate.
Has anyone else had this happen and are replacements liners available?
thanx, Kev.

Mine was looking scruffy where it was rubbing on the engine cover
Took it off and binned it , diesels don't produce enough under bonnet heat to damage the paint work.

Just out of interest did it make the car any noisier inside? Mine is getting a bit scruffy and can't find a decent one at the scrap yards.
Thanks.
Martyn.

At the moment my car has that many rattles and bangs that if you took the bonnet off it wouldn't be any noisier , but it didn't make a lot of difference.

I wonder whether this would be stiff enough to use.

There are decent second hand ones out there ... I had to get one after the mice destroyed my old one ... it just takes a bit of looking.
