I searched for these, however the ones that you mention pop out when you close the doors. The fir tree clips keep the door panel firmly gripped to the door frame.

Fir tree clips and yellow one on D post
This thread is a little old and some of the links do not work. Has anyone bought the clips for the tread plates lately equivalent to EKM100270 and got a good price for 20 or so ? Currently £2.22 each from Rimmers
Then the Tourer D post fixings have a nice yellow clip with 4 thin legs joining at the point. Rimmer do not show the clip on the page where they have the finishers which makes is seem a bit odd. does anyone know the part number and a cost effective source ? Many thanks |

Did you check on eBay?
I found these in a tick: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINEROV...item1e6ae552bc Plenty of cheaper non-OEM clips there |

Old thread but still relevant !
Do NOT be tempted to buy these they are too large to fit the sill or door trim holes. The top of them are a very loose fit so even if they did fit in the hole the kick plate would just slide off then. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=261434650789 We agreed a refund from the seller on condition they removed suitability for Rover 75. Instead they went one step further to annoy us by adding the OEM part number to the listing Yes they are very very cheap at 99p for 10 but please don't be tempted as they are just another Chinese rip off which break and don't fit. We bought some for research purposes to save you all the trouble

The ones that are listed as sill trim clips work, they're about £3 for 10 i think, well they work in the door card, haven't tried them in the kick plates

Agreed the clips from Byronix work (slightly smaller than OEM but sort of work ok.)
They must be glued onto the kickplate first before insertion to be effective. They are not as brittle as OEM. See item number 171047824397 The original clips were hot glued to the kickplate.

This is one of the biggest bug bears of my car, I am fed up with clipping these things back in because people catch them so easily, most of the clips are now broken, I was playing around with some slim Velcro strips and I think it will be a solution, time will tell.
