i thought it was plastic so was not even going to attempt bending it. i see there is a small thin spring. perhaps that can be replaced? as for stitches. she has that covered, she never leaves a mark, so never any proof of the abuse.

Once you've popped the bonnet, you can slide your hand under & push the hook back & lift, then you can take the grill off & see the "claw". It's how I open mine since I fitted mesh

Thats another tick in the box.
In tank diesel pump replaced today, many thanks for all the posts in the past that have explained the issues and the how toos. Her car kept cutting out when it got low on diesel. hopefully the issue is sorted now. still to test. however, the seal on the tank pump leaks, it had been disturbed in the past and refitted incorrectly and has a pinch mark in it. where do i gat a new seal from? here? regards sam |
