I have only put it on 20 mins ago like all cars you want the best price and in fairness I have spent half the day talking and emailing people and so like any other car I have sold it's an open market and the person who turns up cash in hand and makes the offer deemed the best gets it.

ok, no problem.
I thought we had an agreed deal and I had offered you a deposit, but it is a very nice car and i'm sure it will sell. Just would of been nice for you to clearly state my offer was ok if no one else came in, hence the offer of a deposit and not i'll take your offer if i don't get a higher one. |

The Mot inspector who does all of my familys cars etc did it for me. He did the belts on my old Zt when I first bought her 2 years ago. He has done plenty of them for the garage and his own private customers. They were done last month.

For what it's worth the chap came and looked at the car drove it and inspected it and left anon refundable deposit. Call me old fashioned but people offering deposits over the phone without seeing the car is something I don't do. That way we are all reading from the same hymn sheet without complications. (Which was pointed out to both of you.)
Oh and he paid more than you both were offering as it was advertised here as a forum price and on eBay £295 more. |
