Default sorry i know this topic has done more than 100 times but bonnet release cables

Hi i have 03 Tourer cdti i used the information on here to release my bonnet but i have changed the cable to to the lever in car but still nothing. I ordered two new cables to change them but went to swap them over, Took front bumper compeltely of but there is still no access to them.
I have checked on here there is threads for opening the bonnet and the release catches but i can not find anything for the bonnet cables.
Can any one help

The foam rubber is only evo stuck prise them gently out ,you can stick them back later.
Slacken the slam panel bolts ,The cable recepticals are held in by two bolts that go into the plastic housing remove these hold the slam panel up and theres enough room to get them out.

thanks for the response i found the thread on greasing them insitu, the other file you put on won't work for me. Will this allow for the changing of the cables.

Default Bonnet release not working

How do I get access to engine compartment to fix this? Many thanks for any help.
