Well I've confirmed with the seller of the bag and I will be buying, he also has the spare bulb kit which is €18 and he's throwing in two genuine boot nets for free!! So for €238 I'm a happy bunny, I was going to ask for €200 on the bag but he chucking those nets in too so I think I'll let it go.

If we're talking about rare bits of kit, does anyone else have one of these?

A Genuine MGR Suit Holder, which I managed to pick up from an ex-MGR employee!

I bought one of these leather document holders at the time I took delivery of my 75 estate back in 2001 and whilst the car went to a new owner 2 years ago I still have the bag. It is wonderfully soft leather and still use to haul papers and iPad etc when flogging up to London for the odd meetings. I see B&G still list this for £20. I seem to remember I paid around £60 for it......

I don't really see the point of accessories like these so l'm wondering why l just bought one of those folders, a ladies purse, a jewel roll & a vanity mirror. I suppose it may convince the wife that l don't think of the car more than her but they all have the Rover badge on them so that might not work.
Bl**dy Rover collectables.

I think when I bought mine the part number on their old website was correct but the picture was completely wrong - however the bag was the correct one for the part number. Best to check before ordering

The one in the B & G advert has a MG logo but as you say it is the correct part number for a Rover bag.

MG Rover must have had MG branded bags made as well as Rover ones.

I have a few bits, I have a couple of these that I picked up over the years, I am not sure if they were in the accessories brochure or not.

You say a couple of these? Do you have one going spare?

The luggage case bag has the Rover badge on a square in the bottom right hand corner, not sure if it has a strap tag.

I paid £50 for the overnighter and £70 for the cool bag, both new, from Brown and Gammons back in 2011 I think - the cool bag is a bit rubbish, it is too bulky to easily carry about and not very big inside. It'd be better if it was bigger or smaller.

The overnighter bag is a seriously nice item, very well made from soft leather, probably one of the nicest things I own! £50 to me was a lot of money then but I suppose it was a bargain. I don't know what a ordinary i.e. non-Rover branded equivalent bag would cost if you went into somewhere like M&S or John Lewis - probably a quite a bit.

I picked up a large holdall from eBay last year, cost £36 posted but is a bit rough and needs some TLC. Looking for another one to complete the set of fitted luggage (two holdalls and one overnighter).

Does your contact have any of the VUP100130 large holdalls available Nathan?

Unfortunately not, he only has the one overnight bag too.
I would like to collect them all myself, just hard to find and when they are found they cost an arm and a leg!!

Thanks for letting me know, indeed the large holdall appears to be very rare, I've only ever seen one and that is the one I own.
