Default eBay handbrake compensators

Anyone else seen these?
Looks like someone has nabbed the work Steve (Arctic) put in to developing a fix for these.

Clearly, the surge in sales of ss shackles for this application presents an opportunity for others. Unfair? yes. Unexpected? probably. Commercially sensible? Obviously.

Tbh I'd still buy from the forum, eBay is still not 100% trustworthy. Not met a member on here that isn't genuine!

Dare you look at this thread
http://www.75ztcommunity.co.uk/modif...-t4025-20.html

I'm not suggesting there is a connection but al least it explains how the shackle works

Commercial sellers on ebay get lots of important info for developing sales by reading the related forums. This one's just an example. And there are thousands of forums.

Well after looking at that, the shackle bought from e-bay will not just fit on, as the above thread clearly stated that the threaded portion has to be ground thinner to allow it to fit in the remaining parts of the original compensator not just put it on, I can see people buying this, thinking it's an easy fix and being disappointed, but there you go
