I made a paypal donation a while back & I think they're sending it out to all the people who made a donation first.

That does make it paid for item - and Toaf a business in the crowdfunding style. In which case I'll apologise for sticking up for the Toaf guys posting here without trader status - Especially to Jeff.

The ones who donated were told they will get TOAF earlier - so they do

Just to notice - TOAF will still be released for free.

Hardly free when only those who've made a donation can have it

& only the version with full "T4" capability has to be paid for

Be very careful what you advertise here

Which is nice and of generous spirit to be sure - I hadn't read that on the site though - although without a download there I hadn't read all of it. It does however conflict with previous statements that said that the donation button was only an afterthought addition with no major significance. Offering donators early access is a big incentive for people to donate: contradicting that.

I try to be fair and give the benefit of the doubt, I do understand that there's a bit of a language issue - but do feel that this could have been made clearer on the previous thread that got locked (please don't resurrect that debate). If Toaf will still be made available for free then I think that perhaps you should promote it here with agreement about trader/non-trader status from the site management.

PS. Thanks Ronnie - I also hadn't realised that there were two Toaf versions to be released, a 'basic' and an 'advanced' - with advanced only available for purchase? That is a business and a typical way of promoting and selling software licences. :coat:

I read on another forum that TOAF was going to be charged for at around £80 a copy for the full version. I could be wrong but it was on the landy boards a while back. I know it isnt against that particular forums rules so maybe they said nothing about pricing on here as it's not allowed!
