Webasto Remote for new Twilight 75
I have just picked up a Rover 75 Diesel today. Strangely I found a photo of the actual car from a whatcar magazine.
http://www.whatcar.com/rover/75/saloon/used-review/ it's in Twilight. It has a Webasto fitted and has the timer in the centre console. I looked at the receiver in the passenger footwell fuse box and there is a T80 receiver. Looking around those remotes seem impossible to find. Can I use a T90 or T91R remote or do I need to change the receiver box to the later matching T90 or T91R Last edited by Dominic22; 22nd September 2016 at 21:13.. |

My car has factory FBH and timer as per the pictures above. The remote is a T90 one as per the picture (except black buttons) and switches the heater on fine.

Its fairly easy to swap the receiver for a newer one where the remotes are a bit easier to find.
Webasto had the great idea of changing the internals of the t80 while keeping the model name the same so making sure you havecompatible remotes can be tricky. Easier if you buy a remote and a receiver together. |

Does anyone know if you buy a T90 or the newer T91R receiver and remote it would work. There seems loads of VW, Audi etc ones in Germany and others but was not sure if they were plug and play or completely different for the VAG group to a Rover T80 one. Also the advantage of a neater remote with the T91.
