I suspect that too, there was no mention of storage until a phone call on the way back, no big deal now as only a day or so.
I have been able to sort someone to go into there tomorrow to bring it back so should be here by late tomorrow. Will have a good look then but first impressions other than the keyed door and missing sill cover was very good. It might have hidden demons but you are buying a 13yr old car that was not owned by an enthusiast, as we would have had record of the car. I think we sometimes forget that. Also at under £1000 for a relatively special car you take the rough with the smooth |

No plan to sell, it was a Monogram colour I did not have and unusual and I wanted a 190, so will go with the others.
It does give a bit of comfort that in my eyes I have bought it under the value I put on it as it leaves a bit of room to make it correct but that is nothing other than making me feel good on the purchase I would suspect that good monogram and unusual cars always have a market so there no need to sell unless personal reasons dictated. It was certainly not bought to flip if that is what you thought. |

Good luck with giving her some tlc. I find I like finding the problems as well on a car like this. It kind of tells you more about the car. But hey Im weird

Not too surprising having met the guy. It was well worth a grand to get the car out of his mitts onto somebody who had a Scooby doo about it.
