Any Audi Owners/Guru's here?
As above, I'm looking at purchasing an A4 Avant, and would like to know more about Audi MMI. Ideally we'd like Nav as part of the integrated screen, but most in our budget don't appear to come with it as standard. I've read different views on installing it retrospectively, and I'm not quite sure what's what. Anybody have any experience here?

I have the basic red screen satnav in mine.
It brings up written directions on the screen and speaks it too you via the speakers. To upgrade the satnav is about £500 all in..... as it requires (from memory) 3 modules..... the screen itself, the actual drive in the the glove box is different (I think) and something behind the screen (?) I just bought a generic satnav (£36) and use bluetack to fit where the screen is LOL or use my phone. |

Hmmm, sounds a lot like the fuss of the high line nav in the 75, ideally I want to be looking at it already fitted then. Thanks for the info. Out of interest, what's the version in the cluster screen like? And how would I tell a car is fitted with it?

I thought I sensed a falling out when we spoke at East Kirkby I bet it was the rusty exhaust that did it

have a read of this..... should help you http://mr-fix.info/mmi-rns-bns-rmc-a...ation-systems/ They are not just a swap out item though like the MgRover ones...... most upgrades need coding to the car after installation. |

I've been thinking of the Seat Exeo estate as a replacement for my 75 when it eventually bites the dust. It's the previous generation B.7 model Audi A4 but with a different nose & boot. The diesels have the newer more refined VAG Common Rail engines rather than the old pumpe duse engines and the Tech pack gives Leather, Sat Nav & Bose stereo
