'Carte grise à jour' means that it 'is' in the current owner/seller's name. But I agree that it doesn't look like a great bargain, with the clutch and bodywork to do, not to mention what lies hidden....

Yet that colour is so tempting. Also the fact that it has sunroof, headlamp washers, reversing radar and leather interior. Plus I want an LHD 75...

Also the 75s are worth much more this side of the Channel.

I've asked the seller to deliver it to me, just in case there's a problem in driving it (sounds like the clutch slave cylinder is leaking...).

I think I want it for a project/hobby/challenge...

Getting cars registered in France is not insurmountable. I imported a lovely RHD 2.5 V6 75 from the UK last year, and next week I'm getting a rare and smart Toyota 4-Runner from Monaco.

Of course Madame is not very favourably impressed by all this time- and money-spending, but I'm exercising my right to indulge my eccentric tastes...

Default What do forum membrs think of this one for sale in SW France?

Well, I ended up buying it, today. And what with it being in that colour and in rather poor condition, I can safely say I have bought a lemon! Think I'll begin a new thread to enumerate woes and work to do...

Did you get a CT with it ??

Should have at least 6 months to run at the point of sale.

Hope you got it cheap because, if with clutch problems, even in France, it will have very little value on the market over here.

The owner would have been lucky to have Given it away.---
