How about using it during the summer, and storing it over the winter?

As such, she's quite a rare example and it's very tempting to keep her mothballed for the future, but what exactly would I be saving her for? If I'm not going to driver her now, then I'm hardly likely to start in, say, 10 yrs time when she'll no doubt be even more rare .

Far better to enjoy the car now while I can, whilst at the same time doing whatever possible to maintain her in her current condition.

As others have said, cars were built to be driven. Just my opinion of course - you really should do whatever gives you personally the most satisfaction .

I am with you Cliff on this subject, As you know I have Derek (Windrush)

he only ever got it out on the road for our monthly meets and going to the National, I use it every day and loving it, at the moment still only has 32000 on the clock.

Question

How about selling it to someone who will use it? Chris S.

That's the really sad part, Derek had a lovely car that he never got to properly enjoy in later years. We all think there's plenty of time to enjoy our "toys", but it's not always so. You're doing the right thing Julien: looking after her and treating her well, but also driving her. I'm sure Derek would approve.

Cliff

Drive it and enjoy it or sell it. The 75 isn't a car anyone 'promised themselves' so it will never be worth big money. They will be 'the car your dad had' like base model Cortina's and Granada's etc etc so they will go up in value but it's doubtful people will ever fight over buying one whatever the colour

I get tons of pleasure from driving mine. To have it parked up would be a crime.

Never a truer word spoken! I feel sorry for anyone who's dreams and desires only went as far as owning a Rover 75

Drive it man !

Unless you can afford to keep it as a 2nd toy that comes out for shows and meets in the sun.

I have a cimarron green tourer, just clocked 135k, brought it with 70k on 6ys ago, loved every minute/mile driving it, love the colour. As much as we love these cars they will never have great value. Drive and enjoy it.
