Default Rover Watch

A friend of mine (not a Club member. as he has an older Rover) has been offered this watch, apparently hardly worn, and complete with its box and certificate etc.. (Battery has expired) Anyone seen one of these, know anything about it, and value ? Any help appreciated.....

Personally I wouldn't bother, it's just a watch with the word 'ROVER' printed on the face. There's nothing about it that anyone could immediately identify as being associated with the car marque - no badge, no model designation etc.

Maybe it’s a 75 watch the same as mine with a face like a 75 speedo and 75 on the back?

Like this

Andrew's watch pic was a chrono type with Rover at the "3" position

The bottom photo in Suzublu's post is the watch the OP is asking about.
