Also what is inside this bag in the picture? I can see a strap but I'm wondering what the other bag is?

Here is the page from a 1999 brochure.
It says Rover Branded Leather Luggage but does not show a Rover badge. I may be embossed with a Rover logo but it is not shown in the picture. Look at the price £189.50 ! I would say that the one for sale is the same as the one in the brochure, same clasp and zip arrangment. Dave T Last edited by Duotone; 29th October 2015 at 07:49.. |

I think that items like this are worth what you are prepared to pay. Its a rare bag so would command a premium price I imagine. If your buying it to sell on then you need a profit margin. In your case I imagine your buying it as a collector and will get enjoyment from owning it. Therefore the sky's the limit, or in my case the wife's limit..For example my mate thinks I am mad paying £35.00 for a set of logo mats for my 75. He tells me this while holding the lead of his £2,500 bulldog. Each to their own I say.

Right so the one I'm buying is the overnight bag.
Now I'm wondering about the other bags in the brochure? If VUP100150 is a bag that fits on the boot lid, then what are the other bags part numbers? So VUP100140 is the coolbox bag VUP100150 is a boot lid mounted bag VUP100160 is the overnight bag What is VUP100130? In the brochure there are three different bags pictured, one of them is VUP100160 (Overnight bag) but is one of them the missing VUP100130? Also is VUP100150 pictured in the brochure above or is it another bag pictured? The list of things to collect just keeps getting longer! |

uploadfromtaptalk1446111269371.jpg as for the unbranded part, here is another picture of the same bag I'm buying, and it seems to have a badge on the tag part and on the picture i originally posted, there seems to be a badge embossed into the bottom right corner? But i cant make it out.
Oh and as for the price, well the bag i posted the picture of originally is the actual bag I'm buying and is brand new, it is coming from another country i was originally given a price of 290euros (£208) but so far I've managed to get him down to 220euros (£157) I'm still haggling and I'm going to say I'll deal at 200euros (£143) but if he says no I'll still take it at 220euros lol to be honest i would have paid the £208! I have found another which is brand new too, but haven't had any contact from them yet but I have seen they have one in stock. I think it is only £126 or less and its in England. But just had not contact upto now so I've given up trying! |
