There's really not that much wrong with this car....Cat D though. Amazing what insurers will right a car off for these days. One damaged door for heavens sake! Milton Keynes is a fair trek from here sadly.

I think you're right. It's still a rare and desirable car. A few relatively minor points that could be sorted to have a cracking car. Mileage and spec are right, even like the colour. The cat D shouldn't really mean anything to sensible people.

I think the same thing.

Buy back from insurance would have been cheap as well.

So....whys the owner not fixing it and keeping it or fixing it and selling it for more money? On face value it's only minor things wrong so why not repair for a much bigger sale price.

when you own something like this I.E a rare one its best to get special insurance with a guaranteed price, I do it with my Discovery as it is modified so get a great deal on insurance from Heritage and all modifications included. Maybe they would do 75/zt specials

Exactly what I did with my Discovery - I had a whole long list of modifications all of which were itemised on the policy and the value agreed.

I used Adrian Flux - but have heard good things re Heritage.

This V8 MG ZT-T is such a temptation

I will be interested to see what it goes for.
